Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Manobhav makes every effort to provide counselling and therapy services in a professional, compassionate, and client-focused manner. However, we understand there may be situations where you are dissatisfied or unable to continue with our services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued and the terms governing cancellations and rescheduling of sessions.

1. Applicability 

This Policy applies to all Registered Users of Manobhav who have paid for counselling, therapy, expressive arts therapy, workshops, or support sessions. By booking a session/package, you agree to abide by the terms listed herein.

Refunds will only be considered in the following situations:

  • Accounting errors (e.g., being charged incorrectly).

  • Service defect/deficiency (e.g., dissatisfaction with session quality, validated after investigation by Manobhav).

Any other issues will not be eligible for a refund. If a reported issue is curable, Manobhav may choose to re-perform the service rather than issue a refund.

2. Refund Conditions

  • Refund requests must be raised within 30 days of purchase of session/package. Requests made after 30 days will not be eligible.

  • Refunds are provided only on unused sessions. Once a session is completed, it is non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not applicable on:

    • Discounted packages, promotional codes, or special offer credits.

    • Self-help programs, group workshops, or resource packages.

  • If a package is partially used, the refund amount will be calculated based on actual usage and the per-session slab price (not the discounted package rate).

A processing fee of ₹500 (towards payment gateway charges and administration) will be deducted from the refund amount.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Each booking may be rescheduled maximum twice. Further rescheduling will not be permitted.

  • If a session is cancelled/rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or if you fail to attend, the session will be marked as no-show and is non-refundable.

  • If Manobhav’s therapist cancels the session, the session credit will remain in your account without any deduction, irrespective of notice period.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at 📧 support@manobhav.com with your Client ID, payment details, and reason for request.

  2. Our team will review the case and may reach out for clarification.

  3. If approved, we will confirm the refund amount and estimated timeline.

Refunds are generally processed within 15 working days from the date of approval.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used during booking.

5. Delayed or Missing Refunds

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.

  • If you have not received your refund after 15 working days of confirmation, please:

    1. Check your bank account again.

    2. Contact your bank or payment provider.
